The goal of this clinical trial is to explore the efficacy and safety of double-dose third-generation EGFR-TKI combined with bevacizumab and intrathecal chemotherapy in treating advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with leptomeningeal metastasis that progressed after prior standard-dose third-generation EGFR-TKI treatment. It also aims to investigate the correlation …
With this project, the study group wants to investigate whether a postoperative navigated transcranial magnetic stimulation (nTMS) motor map can improve stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) planning in patients who underwent resection for a brain metastasis near the primary motor cortex. Specifically, the map could allow for more precise location of motor …
The goal of this study is to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of same-day radiation planning and treatment. The study will shorten the time interval between radiation planning (radiation mapping) and radiation treatment. The intent of this shorter time interval is to increase the likelihood that the brain metastases being …
Background: Cognitive symptoms are common and often severe in patients with brain metastases, significantly impacting their quality of life and ability to manage cancer care. Currently, there is no standard approach for routinely assessing and managing these symptoms in oncology clinics. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, …
Radiosurgery is the use of a focal high dose of radiation therapy to ablate or kill a tumor. This trial will enroll patients with brain metastases 4 cm or less in greatest diameter and will compare 0mm margin to a 2mm margin for treatment.
A single centre, non-profit, randomised, unblinded pilot study on volume definition for spinal stereotactic body radiation therapy treatment. Randomization will be 1:1 between two types of SBRT treatment for spinal metastases. The statistical unit will be the individual vertebral metastasis. Multiple metastases will be randomized and evaluated independently.
This is a single-arm, multi-center phase II study to evaluate the safety and efficacy Sacituzumab Tirumotecan (Sac-TMT) plus bevacizumab in triple-negative breast cancer patients with brain metastases. Twenty-four participants are planned to be enrolled. The eligible patients should have histologically or cytologically confirmed TNBC with BM.
Participants in this research study have cancer that has spread to their brain, called brain metastases. One treatment for this type of cancer is called whole brain radiotherapy that stays away from a specific neurocognitive substructure, called the hippocampus, combined with medication to preserve cognitive function. This study compares that …
There is a lack of prospective trial data and consensus guidelines describing the use of Fractionated Stereotactic Radiation Therapy (FSRT) in the treatment of brain metastases. There has been no prospective dose escalation study performed to date to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) in patients treated with FSRT. Prescription …
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of TACE combined with immune checkpoint inhibitors to treat unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma.
