Role Overview
We are seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Trial Solutions to serve as a Program Manager for large, enterprise client engagements. This role sits at the intersection of client strategy, delivery execution, and team leadership.
You will own the success of key accounts, lead cross-functional initiatives, and manage Client Services teams to ensure high-quality delivery across recruitment and patient engagement programs. You’ll also play a critical role in mentoring junior team members and shaping best practices as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Client Management
- Serve as the primary Program Manager for large-scale client engagements (pharma, biotech, CROs)
- Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise platform implementations
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and KPIs
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients, providing insights on recruitment performance and optimization
- Lead regular client communications, including business reviews and executive updates
Team Leadership & Operations
- Manage and support Client Services team members across multiple engagements
- Drive operational excellence and consistency in delivery processes
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data teams to execute programs effectively
- Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution
Mentorship & Development
- Mentor and coach junior team members, including project managers and coordinators
- Support onboarding and training of new hires
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Strategic Contribution
- Contribute to development of scalable delivery frameworks and best practices
- Provide feedback to Product and Leadership teams based on client needs and market trends
- Support business development efforts, including solutioning and client presentations as needed
Qualifications
Required
- 6–10+ years of experience in clinical trials, patient recruitment, or life sciences services
- Proven experience managing large, complex client programs or accounts
- Strong understanding of clinical trial operations and recruitment challenges
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- Experience working with digital recruitment platforms or patient engagement technologies
- Background in SaaS or technology-enabled services
- Prior experience managing distributed or global teams
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
