Fecal Microbiota Transplantation for Radiation Enteritis
Radiation enteritis is one of the most feared complications after abdominal or pelvic radiation therapy. The gut microbiota is considered to constitute a "microbial organ" which has pivotal roles in the intestinal diseases and body metabolism. Evidence from animal studies demonstrated the link between intestinal bacteria and radiation enteritis. This clinical …
Efficacy and Safety of Fecal Microbiota Transplantation
In recent years, researches illustrate that multifactorial diseases such as functional gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune diseases, metabolic, behavioral and neurological diseases are associated with an abnormal microbiome structure-dysbiosis, which means the imbalance of the microbiome community. Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT), the infusion of faeces from a healthy donor to the gastrointestinal …
Fecal Microbiota Transplantation for C Diff Infection
The objective of this study is to provide treatment with Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) to patients with recurrent or refractory Clostridium difficile infection (CDI). It has been shown that good bacteria (like that found in the stool from a healthy donor) attack Clostridium difficile in multiple ways: they make substances …
Fecal Microbiota Transplantation in Pediatric Ulcerative Colitis (UC)
This study included two topics: one was to test the efficacy and safety of fecal microbiota transplants plus partial enteral nutrition (PEN) in refractory pediatric UC where conventional therapy has failed, and the other was to explore the efficacy and safety of FMT plus PEN as first-line therapy for pediatric …
Healthy Stool Volunteer Donors for Fecal Microbiota Transplantation Trials
Currently, ANSM recommendations govern FMT (Fecal Microbiota Transplantation) in clinical trials. The collection and validation of these stool donations as part of the trials is complex and not very efficient. It therefore seems essential to identify the limiting factors and the characteristics of Healthy Volunteer Donors to optimize the number …
Fecal Microbiota Transplantation as a Strategy to Eradicate Resistant Organisms
This protocol will evaluate fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) as a strategy to eradicate intestinal colonization of extended-spectrum resistant (ESC-R) Enterobacteriaceae in pediatric patients. FMT will be performed on subjects with a history of at least one infection due to ESC-R Enterobacteriaceae. This protocol aims to determine the feasibility, safety, tolerability, …
Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) in Patients With Advanced Gastric Cancer
This study is a randomized, double-blind and placebo-controlled study. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of FMT capsules combined with chemotherapy and anti-PD1/PDL1 therapy in the advanced gastric cancer.
Fecal Microbiota Transplantation to Relieve Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome With Constipation
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a complex multifactorial functional disorder, whose pathophysiology is largely associated to an impairment of the intestinal microbiota composition, namely dysbiosis. Thus, the modulation of the gut microbiota has been proposed as a possible therapeutic strategy for IBS patients alongside with current available drugs. Fecal microbiota …

Efficacy and Safety Evaluation of Fecal Microbiota Transplantation in Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Participants will be given FMT through oral capsules or nasojejunal tube once a month. After three-time treatment, participants were followed up for three months. Participants complete specific scales to assess improvement in symptoms, emotion and quality of life. Besides, they report adverse effects and collect fecal samples at each visit.
