Study of the Pathophysiology of RNU4ATAC and RTTN Associated Syndromes
In the human genome, about 750 genes contain one intron excised by the minor spliceosome. These genes are named U12 genes, and these introns, minor or U12 introns. The minor spliceosome comprises its own set of snRNAs, among which U4atac. Its non-coding gene, RNU4ATAC, has been found mutated in Taybi-Linder …
Using Mobile Health (mHealth) to Improve STI Treatment Adherence Among Adolescents
We will conduct a randomized trial to compare differences in sexually transmitted infection (STI) treatment adherence between patients receiving text messages versus those receiving usual care (e.g. no text messages). We hypothesize that STI treatment adherence will be 20% higher among patients randomized to receipt of two-way text messaging services.

Test-retest Reliability of sEMG to Measure Fatigue in Adolescents
This cross-sectional study aims to determine the test-retest reliability of surface electromyography (sEMG) outcomes in detecting levels of fatigue among healthy adolescents engaged in physical activities. It seeks to evaluate the consistency of sEMG parameters across two test sessions and correlate these measurements with both performance metrics and subjective fatigue …
Morning Versus Bedtime Dosing of Antihypertensive Medication
Previous studies have shown that elevated nighttime blood pressure (BP) was more closely associated with cardiovascular mortality and morbidity than daytime and clinic BPs. With increasingly advanced technology, not only 24-hour ambulatory but also home BP monitors can be used to evaluate nighttime BP. The validation study of the Omron …
