Buffered Lidocaine for Reducing Pain in Patients Undergoing Prostate Biopsy, BURN Trial
This phase I/II trial examines if buffered lidocaine reduces the pain that patients may experience during prostate biopsy. Prostate biopsies are typically performed awake, in the office, with only local anesthetic. As a result, many patients note considerable pain during these procedures. Local anesthetics such as lidocaine are typically acidic, …
68Ga-P16-093 PET Imaging for Diagnosing Prostate Cancer, a Head-to-head Comparison With mpMRI
68Ga-P16-093 is a novel radiotracer targeting PSMA. In this study, we investigated the diagnostic efficacy of 68Ga-P16-093 PET imaging (PET/CT or PET/MRI) in patients with newly diagnosed, treatment-naive prostate cancer, and performed a head-to-head comparison with multi-parameter magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI).
High Intensity Focused Ultrasound in Prostate Cancer
This study will investigate the efficacy of focal high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) in patients with localized radiorecurrent prostate cancer. This study will also investigate the change in participant quality of life after HIFU therapy as compared to before HIFU therapy.
Detection of Viable CTCs Using the EPIDROP Technology in Metastatic Prostate Cancer (EPIDROP)
The use of liquid biopsy could be the key for precision medicine. Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) are the most studied circulating biomarkers used to assess the metastatic process and they have shown their clinical validity and utility in cancer patients. However, their detection and capture are still a challenge as …
Clinical Application of AI-assisted Ultrasound Technology in the Preoperative Evaluation of Thyroid Cancer
This study aims to explore the application of AI-assisted ultrasound technology in the preoperative assessment of thyroid cancer. Traditional ultrasound examination data from thyroid cancer patients will be collected, and AI systems will be utilized to detect and diagnose thyroid nodules and lymph nodes. In cases where there is disagreement …
Safety and Efficacy of AGN-INM176 in Prostate Patients With Rising PSA
This Phase I/II open-label trial aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the herbal supplement INM176 in patients with a history of prostate cancer or low-risk disease under active surveillance. The study will determine the recommended Phase II dose (RP2D) and assess the efficacy of INM176 in stabilizing or …
AK104 for Recurrent or Metastatic Vulvar Cancer
This is a multicenter, open-label, phase II clinical study, aiming to the evaluate the efficacy and safety of AK104 (an anti- PD-1 and CTLA-4 bispecific antibody), alone or combined with chemotherapy, in subjects with recurrent or metastatic vulvar cancer not amenable to curative surgery or radiotherapy.
Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy and FES PET/CT Imaging for the Treatment of Oligoprogressive Estrogen Receptor Positive Metastatic Breast Cancer
This phase II trial tests how well stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) works in treating patients with estrogen receptor positive (ER +) breast cancer that has spread from where it first started to other places in the body (metastatic) and has limited disease progression (oligoprogression). Currently, the standard of care …
PET Scan Study to Detect Prostate Cancer in Patients with Early PSA Recurrence
Flotufolastat F-18, sold under the brand name Posluma, is a radioactive diagnostic agent for use with positron emission tomography (PET) imaging for prostate cancer. The research is being done to study the capability of 18F-rhPSMA-7.3 (flotufolastat F-18) PET scan to detect prostate cancer when there are very low levels of …
Intraperitoneal FT536 in Recurrent Ovarian, Fallopian Tube, and Primary Peritoneal Cancer
This is a single center Phase I clinical trial of FT536 administered intraperitoneally (IP) 3 times a week for one week for the treatment of recurrent gynecologic cancers. A short course of outpatient lymphodepleting chemotherapy is given prior to the first dose of FT536 to promote adoptive transfer.
