AFT: Introduction of a Full Breast Reconstructive Method
A multicentre prospective cohort study will monitor the efficacy and safety of Autologous Fat Transfer (AFT) with pre-expansion. AFT will be evaluated in terms of quality of life, aesthetic result, complications, oncological safety and cost-effectiveness. It follows the BREAST trial, the randomised controlled trial comparing AFT with implant-based reconstruction. In …
Active Surveillance for Low Risk Prostate Cancer
An active surveillance protocol for patients diagnosed low-risk prostate cancer will be held. We plan to use PSA (prostate-specific antigen) testing, DRE (digital rectal examination), TRUS (transrectal ultrasound), MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and follow-up biopsies to monitor patients and detect cancer progression in time.
RADIomics to Predict HER2 Status And T-DXd Efficacy in Metastatic Breast Cancer: the RADIOSPHER2 Study
RADIOSPHER2 study is a monocentric, retrospective, observational study aiming at identifying a radiomics signature able to predict HER2 expression (0 vs low vs overexpression) and trastuzumab deruxtecan efficacy in metastatic breast cancer patients. The study also encompasses translational analyses and inter-modal correlations in order to provide novel insights about HER2 …
HRQOL in Thyroid Cancer and Thyroid Tumours
Background: Most patients with thyroid cancer have a long life expectancy, and it has been assumed among health professionals that therefore the quality of life (QOL) is good. Some European studies have shown that the quality of life among thyroid cancers is worse than the general population, and almost as …
Prospective Observational Study on Outcome of High-precision Hypo-fractionated Radiotherapy in Metastatic Breast Cancer (PRECISE-M)
This study is a prospective observational study on outcomes of high precision hypo-fractionated radiotherapy in breast cancer with distant metastasis.
Comparison of Tumor Efficacy Safety in Laparoscopic Resection of Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors Between Favorable and Unfavorable Site
Participants with gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GIST) were divided into favorable and unfavorable sites according to the anatomical site of the tumor, and this study aims to validate the overall postoperative morbidity and mortality rates between favorable site receiving laparoscopic resection of GIST and that of unfavorable site under the currently standard …
Prospective Study of EXErcise Regimens After Treatment for Breast Cancer for Hypertrophy and Conditioning
This study investigates the impact of four standard of care, monitored group exercise regimens (resistance training) on conditioning and hypertrophy in women previously treated for breast cancer. The study will compare two conditioning regimens (6-12-25 and 8x8) and two hypertrophy regimens (5/5/5 cluster sets and double training) to assess changes …
Immune Biomarkers in Prostate Cancer Patients Treated With Brachytherapy
Analysis of peripheral immune cells before, during, and after brachytherapy treatment. Corresponding analysis of tissue samples collected during brachytherapy treatment.
Clinical and Dosimetric Study of Patients Treated With 177Lu-PSMA-617 for Prostate Cancer.
Single-centre, retrospective and prospective observational study. This study aims to evaluate the dose delivered by radiation to the tumour and organs at risk, as a factor predicting response and the appearance of toxicities. Dosimetric calculations are made for each treatment using scintigraphic images acquired following injection of 177Lu-PSMA-617.
Evaluation of diagnostiC Capacity of eccDNAs as Biomarkers in Indetermined biLiary Stricture(ECCBILE)
Biliary stricture is mainly malignant in the adults and caused by several types of fatal malignancies such as pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, and metastatic tumor, which have poor prognosis that the overall survival of unresectable lesions is no more than 15 months. The poor outcome often relates to a lack of …
